Canada Post E-commerce Innovation Awards accepting entries
Toronto (Ont.) – Centre stage recognition at a prestigious gala attended by industry leaders and $1 million in prizing await the entrants who succeed in the country’s biggest competition to celebrate excellence in e-commerce.
Now in its fourth year, the Canada Post E-commerce Innovation Awards is accepting applications. The Awards celebrate online retail strategies that exhibit exceptional entrepreneurship, originality and savvy, and which demonstrate a commitment to serving the customer with excellence throughout the entire e-commerce experience.
The winners will be announced at a gala in Toronto on September 28.
“E-commerce in Canada continues to grow and morph at an incredible pace and these awards recognize the Canadian companies that are driving it,” says René Desmarais, Senior Vice-President, Parcels, Canada Post. “While iconic and established retailers participate, small start-ups also compete against their peers, recognizing that at any size, innovation and excellence are the keys to success.”
Companies that conduct all or a portion of their retail business online are invited to apply. Finalists will be announced in August, and will compete to win a share of more than $1 million in free shipping and marketing prizing. The deadline to apply is May 29, 2015.
The categories for the 2015 Canada Post E-commerce Awards are:

- Best Online Shopping Experience Award (Large and Small)
- Best Customer Engagement Award
- Most Exciting Start-Up Award
- Community Impact Award
- Consumer Champion Award
- Canada Post E-Commerce Innovator’s Award
